Welcome to Assistant Professor Qiu Yunyan

The Department of Chemistry welcomes Assistant Professor Qiu Yunyan who has joined the Department under the NUS Presidential Young Professorship scheme in October 2022. Yunyan received his B.S. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Peking University in 2011, and continued to obtain his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016 under the supervision of Professor Kevin Noonan. Subsequently, Yunyan had his postdoctoral stint with Prof Sir J Fraser Stoddart at Northwestern University. Yunyan’s research interests are in supramolecular chemistry, polymer chemistry, organic synthesis and catalysis fields.
