Safety Training and Safety Tests

Undergraduates

The student should read the prepared risk assessments relevant to his/her work and verify that he/she has done so. Undergraduates working in the teaching lab should read the Undergraduate Safety Note, and pass the “undergraduate safety quiz” (as a part of assessments for each lab module) and also complete the respective pre-lab assignments of experiments (True/False questions, MCQ, or writing risk assessment, etc.)  before he or she performs them in the teaching labs. In addition, risk assessments forms for each experiments can be found online. Signed hardcopies are kept in the respective teaching laboratories.

First year undergraduates must view OSHGEN02, a safety induction video by OSHE on LumiNUS.

UROPS

Students doing UROPS and final year projects must sit for the OSHE chemical safety test and other specific tests relevant to their research.
