The 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad

The 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad

Congratulation to the Singapore team, led by Dr Tan Wee Boon and Dr Hoang Truong Giang from Department of Chemistry NUS. The Singapore team clinched 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals. They are Chen Yizhou from Temasek Junior College (Gold), Goh Cheng Jun, Nicholas from Raffles Institution (Gold), Alphonsus Neo Yu Xiang from Raffles Institution (Silver) and Kwee Tze Wei, Bernard from Hwa Chong Institution (Silver). The Singapore team is ranked 6th amongst 80 participating countries in the 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO 2021). The Olympiad was held remotely from 25 July to 2 August 2021, Osaka, Japan. Read more about Singapore and International Chemistry Olympiads here.
