It was a great honor that the efforts and achievements of the Emeritus Professor JJ Vittal’s research group at the Department of Chemistry, NUS, in the field of solid-state photochemistry have been recognized by the Indian Photobiology Society recently. JJ Vittal had the privilege of delivering the “Professor N.R. Dhar Memorial Award” talk at their Annual Convention 2024 and International Symposium, held in association with the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Newtown, Kolkata, from January 31 to February 1, 2025. Following his talk, JJ was felicitated for this recognition.
