Congratulations to Assistant Professor KOH Ming Joo, who was recently named to the Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN)’s Talented 12 list (2022) for his work on sustainable catalysis. His group efforts led to the discovery of new multitasking and energy-efficient catalysts that mediate unprecedented chemical reactions. This significantly enhances the efficiency and shortens the steps required to access a target chemical compound. These catalysts are used to transform cheap and abundant feedstock chemicals into value-added products with a lower carbon footprint. Read the full story here.
