Rapid Chem Challenge (31 May 2023)

1.Information 

Rapid Chem Challenge is a series of fun chemistry games that a team (consists of 2 members) have to complete. It includes chem quiz and chem practical challenge. It is to gauge not only how much you know about Chemistry but also perhaps how much you don’t! In concept, it is straightforward and simple. From the cumulative results from the different challenges, winners will emerge.

2.Prizes

Champion: the team will receive S$120 Vouchers + Certificates
1st Runner-up: the team will receive S$100 Vouchers + Certificates
2nd Runner-up: the team will receive S$80 Vouchers + Certificates
Meritorious 1: the team will receive S$60 Vouchers + Certificates
Meritorious 2: the team will receive S$60 Vouchers + Certificates

3.Participant Criteria

• This Challenge is opened to Secondary students (Year 1 to Year 4) and equivalent.
• Each Team is comprised of 2 participants.
• Each school can register a maximum 3 teams.

4.Dress code:

• Covered shoes
• Long pants (no skirt / short)
• Lab coats and safety goggles will be provided
• Long hair should be tied properly

5.Registration

• Registration fee: SGD 40.00 per team (2 students) + GST 
• No refund will be provided for any cancellations.
• Registration deadline is 15 April 2023 (Sat) OR when the registration is full (whichever is earlier).
• First come, first served basis
• A meal coupon valid at the Frontier Science Canteen will be provided.
