Research Highlight

Our group conducts interdisciplinary research on the atomic-scale material design, characterization and applications. In particular, we aim to solve the bottleneck issues in large-scale synthesis of pioneering class of atomically economic single-atom catalysts for fine-chemical synthesis industry (Nat. Nanotech, 2021), as well as scalable fabrication of high-quality two-dimensional (2D) inks for printable electronics industry (Nat. Mater., 2021). We are also interested in exploring atomic-scale chemical and physical phenomena for design and manufacturing of advanced nanomaterials for solid-state devices and catalysis.
