Research Interests
Our research is centered on the chemistry of N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) and related strong donor ligands. Specific foci are:
- Development of unprecedented and non-classical carbenes and related strong donor ligands
- Applications of N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) complexes in catalysis and bioorganometallic chemistry
- Physical organic chemistry, development of electronic parameters, e.g. Huynh Electronic Parameter (HEP)
