Renishaw InVia Qontor confocal Raman Microscope
Renishaw Raman Microscope
Renishaw InVia Raman microscope is the most advanced confocal microscope integrated with Raman spectroscopy. Raman microscopy offers non-contact and non-destructive analysis of samples through laser irradiation. It allows measurement of samples in various forms, including solids, liquids, and gases, with minimal sample requirements. The interaction between the laser and the vibration modes of the chemical bonds causes a particular energy shift in back scattered light, which is detected to produce a Raman spectrum.
Sample requirements for Raman analysis: Note that your sample must be non-volatile, stable with laser exposure and the sample must not have fluorescence effects with laser exposure.
Technical specifications for Renishaw Raman Microscope are as follows:
Raman microscope is located at the Advanced Teaching Laboratory (S7-04-01). For further information, please contact mkmya@nus.edu.sg / +65 6601 1948 (Dr Mya Mya Khin).
