Harnessing the Power of Nano-Ferroelectrics: BaTiO3/MXene (Ti3C2Tx) Composites for Enhanced Lithium Storage. Adv. Energy Mater. 2024, 14, 2401988. We report BaTiO3/few-layered Ti3C2Tx (BT/f-Ti3C2Tx) composites through in-situ growth of BaTiO3 nanoparticles on few-layered Ti3C2Tx nanosheets using a hydrothermal method. The internal electric fields, originating from the spontaneous polarization of ferroelectric BaTiO3, enhance Li+ storage capability, while BaTiO3 nanoparticles prevent the restacking of Ti3C2Tx nanosheets. The excellent lithium storage performance of BT/f-Ti3C2Tx composites is demonstrated by electrochemical tests, dynamic analysis and theoretical calculations.
