The Department of Chemistry offers a vibrant research environment and focuses on the most important problems in chemistry today. With over 50 research active principal investigators, 150 postdoctoral fellows, and 300 postgraduate students working in areas ranging from synthetic chemistry, materials, chemical biology, theoretical chemistry, food science and many others, we are taking the lead towards acquiring new fundamental knowledge and delivering solutions to address key questions in industry, global health and sustainability.
