Assistant Professor Atsushi Taguchi from Osaka University Japam, will give a research seminar on “Deciphering how Streptococcus pneumoniae builds its cell wall and gains antibiotic resistance” on Wed, 7 December 2022, 16:00 SGT, at Executive Classroom S8-03-14. He will highlight his recent success in characterizing cell wall glycosidases that are important for peptidoglycan synthesis and a novel resistance mechanism against the cell wall antibiotic fosfomycin.
